Rain Isn’t Slowing Down the Fiesta Fun

After a rainy week and flash floods, Fiesta is still going strong, with some of the city’s biggest events still taking place.

Parades, festivals, and community events will keep the schedule packed from morning to night, especially through the weekend. With large crowds expected downtown be sure to plan ahead, check routes, and give yourself extra time to get where you need to go.

This Week’s Calendar of Events: April 23-April 30

Splash Pads Open for the Season
Where: Visit SA.Gov/Parks for a full list of locations | When: Beginning March 7 | 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily

COSA

City of San Antonio splash pads reopened for the season, offering free water play areas for families across local parks. To see the full list of locations, visit SA.gov/Parks.

Fiesta de los Reyes
Where: Historic Market Square | When: April 16 – April 26 | 10am-11pm

City Approves $5 Fiesta Entry Fee For Peak Times

One of Fiesta’s largest events, featuring 10 days of live music, local food vendors, and cultural celebrations. A recent $5 admission fee will apply during peak times. Visit fiestadelosreyes.com for more details.

Thursday, April 23

A Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA)®
Where: La Villita Historic Arts Village | When: April 21 – April 24 | 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

This four-night, ticketed Fiesta event brings thousands to La Villita for cultural food, themed booths, and nonstop live entertainment.

Hosted by The Conservation Society of San Antonio, guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance and check event details before attending.

Friday, April 24

Battle of Flowers Parade
Where: Downtown San Antonio | When: April 24 | 10:30 a.m.

Battle of Flowers Association

Saturday, April 25

Fiesta Pooch Parade
Where: 250 Viesca St. | When: April 25 | 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Cornhole Tournament 2026
Where: Wheatley Heights Sports Complex | When: April 25, 2026 | 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM

COSA

King William Parade
Where: King William Neighborhood | When: April 25 | 9 a.m. – Noon

Fiesta Flambeau Parade

The nation’s largest illuminated night parade lights up downtown with themed floats and performances. Purchase tickets for bleacher or chair seats or secure a spot along the route. For more visit, flambeau.org.
