The San Antonio Observer is a weekly newspaper headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 1995, the publication provides local news, politics, business coverage, community reporting, and investigative journalism focused on issues impacting San Antonio and the surrounding region.
For three decades, The San Antonio Observer has served as an independent voice highlighting stories, perspectives, and community concerns that are often overlooked in traditional media. The publication is the city’s only African American newspaper and one of the largest Black-owned newspapers in South Texas.
