Urban-15 Will Stream 13 Award-Winning Films from the 2025 Josiah Media Festival in a Free, Week-Long Online Event Beginning February 16
URBAN-15 Group is inviting film lovers everywhere to experience the best of emerging global filmmaking through a free, week-long online screening event featuring award-winning works from the 2025 Josiah Media Festival.
Beginning Monday, February 16 at 7 p.m. CST, the 19th Josiah Media Festival Award Winners Screening will stream 13 top films representing creators from around the world. The event is entirely online and free to the public, streaming at urban15.org/live-stream.
Showcasing the Best of Emerging Filmmakers
The featured lineup includes the top three films in each of the festival’s four categories—Narrative, Documentary, Animation, and Experimental—along with the recipient of the 2025 Debra Varner Award for Excellence. The selected films were chosen from more than 60 entries submitted to the 19th annual festival, highlighting standout creativity, storytelling, and technical skill among young filmmakers.
Following each film, viewers will be able to watch exclusive interviews with the filmmakers, offering insight into their inspiration, creative process, artistic challenges, and future goals within the film industry.
Stream Anytime During the Week

Looking Ahead to the 20th Josiah Media Festival
As the festival celebrates its 19th year, Josiah Media Festival is already preparing for its landmark 20th iteration. Filmmakers 21 years old or younger are encouraged to submit their work during the official Call for Entries from May 1 through August 1, 2026.
