The Spurs trailed the Blazers by 17 points at the half, but outscored the home team 33-16 in the third to knot the game at 74 going into the final stanza.

“We need to find the answers before having our back against the wall,” Wembanyama said about the second-half comeback. “But that also shows the strength of our team in adversity. We stick together. We get closer to each other, we feed off of each other’s energy.”

V-Dub had 27 points, 12 rebounds, seven blocks, and four steals in his return from a concussion he sustained during the first half of the teams 106-103 Game 2 loss. The Spurs big man sat out Game 3 due to the league’s concussion protocol mandates.
