Gunna Launches SB the Label With Atlantic Music Group

The Atlanta Rapper Expands His Music Empire as a Record Label CEO, Signing Three Emerging Artists and Preparing to Release His Next Album, Splurge

Atlanta rapper Gunna is taking another step into the business side of hip-hop, launching his own record company, SB the Label, through a new partnership with Atlantic Music Group.

According to Variety, Gunna will serve as CEO of the label, which has already signed three emerging Atlanta artists: Casper Bluff, Nechie and Dracc. The partnership marks a new chapter for the rapper as he looks to develop rising talent while continuing his own recording career.

The move comes as Gunna continues to establish himself as one of Atlanta’s prominent hip-hop artists. His recording career includes three consecutive albums that reached the top three on the Billboard 200, demonstrating his commercial success and staying power.

Now, as a label executive, Gunna is positioning himself to help introduce the next generation of Atlanta artists to a wider audience.

The decision to sign three artists from his hometown also reinforces his connection to Atlanta’s hip-hop scene, which has produced some of the genre’s biggest names.

New Music and Upcoming Album Splurge

Alongside the announcement, Gunna released a new single, “Pop It,” starring Coco Gauff as he prepares for his next studio album, Splurge.

The upcoming project will add to his growing catalog while his new record label begins building its own roster.

With Atlantic Music Group backing the venture, SB the Label represents an opportunity for Gunna to expand his influence beyond performing and recording into artist development and music entrepreneurship.
