Founders Turn Personal Hardship Into Community Support, Launches the Glow by Grace Project
La Lueur Health & Wellness, a nurse practitioner–led and veteran-owned wellness clinic in Dallas, Texas, has launched The Glow by Grace Project, an initiative donating 10 percent of all service packages and holiday gift card purchases to families in need this winter season.
The clinic is founded by Tammy Marshall, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, and her husband, Kelvin Marshall, a United States veteran. For the couple, the project is rooted in personal experience, faith, and a commitment to community care beyond the clinic walls.
Earlier this year, a major flood damaged large portions of the Marshalls’ home, forcing them into months of displacement while extensive repairs continue. During reconstruction, the couple wrote scriptures directly onto exposed beams and framing as an act of faith and resilience, a practice they say mirrors the values that guide their wellness work.
“We’ve been eating out for nearly six months and living through constant construction, but even in our own season of rebuilding, we felt called to help other families,” Marshall said. “Service does not stop because life gets hard. Glow by Grace is our way of standing in the gap for households who need support this Christmas.”
The Glow by Grace Project has set a fundraising goal of $10,000, with proceeds intended to support families experiencing financial hardship during the holiday season. Funds will be distributed through trusted community partners to ensure the assistance reaches local households with immediate needs.
Clients who purchase any holiday gift card or Glow by Grace service package automatically contribute to the initiative, allowing everyday wellness purchases to double as charitable giving.
“Glow by Grace is about bringing light, compassion, and renewal into the community,” Marshall said. “We want to remind families that hope can still shine, even in challenging seasons.”
