Atlanta Duo Ready to Take Trap Collabs to the Next Level
Gunna has confirmed that he and Offset are officially working on a joint album. The news came Monday night during an Apple Music Live event in Los Angeles, where Gunna sat down with Ebro Darden after performing songs from his latest project The Last Wun.
The pair’s chemistry has been undeniable since 2019, delivering hits like Prada Dem, Style Rare, Beat the Case, and Wild Wild West. Their most recent collaborations, including Different Species and At My Purest, only fueled fan demand for a full-length tape.
Gunna: “It’s Organic, Not Forced”
When asked about the potential project, Gunna explained why their sessions click:
“When we work it’s organic, it’s not forced. It’s fun, we are having a good time. He come with the beats or I come with some beats. Turbo come in and we just collaborate… we just put that battery in each other back when we in that studio too, so that’s why the music sound how it sound. We pushing each other.”

Pressed by Ebro on whether a project was happening, Gunna replied without hesitation: “Definitely.” The crowd erupted, locking in the announcement that fans have been waiting on.
Timing and Strategy
While the hype is real, the rollout won’t be immediate. Both artists recently dropped solo projects—Gunna’s The Last Wun and Offset’s KIARI—with features from each other sprinkled in. Gunna described those as “breadcrumbs” ahead of the “meal” that the joint album will be.
The duo is spacing out their releases to avoid oversaturation, pointing toward a likely 2026 drop. On top of the music, Gunna is also working on a documentary, with a private screening already taking place in New York City earlier this month.
For now, fans will have to sit tight, but the trap world may soon have its hottest duo project yet.
