Spurs Wrap Preseason with 2-3 Record, Gear Up for a Fresh Start in 2024-25 Season With Final Roster Released
The Spurs wrap up the preseason with a 2-3 record as they head into the 2024-25 season. The team’s two wins came against the Jazz and Magic, both home games, while dropping three games to Oklahoma City, Miami and Houston.
Coming into this season, the Silver and Black are looking to make significant gains in VDub’s sophomore campaign after an abysmal rookie season that saw the Spurs go 22-60 a year ago. The additions of veterans Chris Paul and Harrison Barnes to the Spurs as well as first round draft pick Stephon Castle should make life much more enjoyable for VDub and the Spurs as a whole.
The Spurs released its opening night roster over the weekend and whittled it down to eighteen players. Brandon Boston Jr. and Malachi Flynn were both waived and did not make the final roster.
The Silver and Black will tip off the regular season on Thursday, Oct. 24 in Dallas against the Mavericks. The team will host the Rockets in their home opener Saturday October 26 at 7:30pm.
Upcoming Games:
Thu, Oct 24 @ Dallas 630pm
Sat, Oct 26 vs Houston 730pm
Mon, Oct 28 vs Houston 7pm
