Election Results: Top Bexar County Races In The 2026 Primary Runoff Election

Runoff Results Begin Coming In After Polls Close

Polls have closed across most of Texas for the Tuesday, May 26 primary runoff election, and results are now beginning to come in for key federal, state and county races.

Bexar County voters are watching several runoff contests that will determine who moves forward to the November general election. Runoff elections happen when no candidate in a primary race receives enough votes to win outright, sending the top two candidates into a final contest.

Early vote totals are often reported first, while Election Day numbers may take longer to be added. Results remain unofficial until they are canvassed.
