July 4th Weekend Leads This Week To-Do’s Around Town
San Antonio heads into July with a Fourth of July weekend packed with downtown celebrations, family-friendly festivals, and holiday traditions across the city. Looking ahead, families and residents can also mark their calendars for outdoor movies, back-to-school giveaways, local markets and film festivals coming up later in the month.
Remember city splash pads are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 23 outdoor city pools are now open for the summer season.

Downtown Thursdays

Disco Alfresco At Sunken Garden Theater

Saturday, July 4th
4th of July Red, White & Bexar Celebration in the Park

Bexar County Parks will celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a free Independence Day event featuring live music, food trucks, carnival rides, inflatables, face painting, kids’ crafts and family activities. McFarlin Tennis Center: New Hours & Free Tuesdays
