Closing Out June With San Antonio’s Biggest Pride Parade and Festival

June is closing out with a lighter calendar after last week’s back-to-back Juneteenth and Father’s Day celebrations, but there are still plenty of free and affordable events before July begins.

This week brings another Downtown Thursday with new deals, free outdoor movies, the UHIA Community Yard Sale and one of the city’s biggest Pride celebrations to close out Pride Month, while next weekend’s Fourth of July festivities are already on the horizon.

Remember city splash pads are open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and 23 outdoor city pools open for the summer season began Saturday, June 20.

Thursday, June 25

Downtown Thursday Block Party

Huge Community Yard Sale Coming to San Antonio’s East Side June 27

The United Homeowners Improvement Association will host a community yard sale open to the entire San Antonio community. Shoppers can browse furniture, clothing, household goods, tools, toys, books and other hidden treasures, with a food truck also on site.
