Norway Led the Final Medal Count, While the U.s. Secured 33 Medals in Milano Cortina
The United States finished the 2026 Winter Games with 33 total medals. But in the final medal count, it wasn’t enough to claim the top spot.
Team USA closed out the Milano Cortina Olympics with 12 gold, 12 silver, and 9 bronze medals, placing second overall in total medals. It marked one of the country’s strongest Winter Olympic performances in recent history.
