Warrior Games Unveil 2026 Logo Ahead of First Games in Military City

Warrior Games Reveal 2026 Logo Honoring San Antonio

San Antonio, long recognized as “Military City USA™,” will welcome the Warrior Games for their first-ever appearance in the city next summer. With events set for June 13–20, 2026, the Games will take place primarily at the Henry B. González Convention Center and surrounding venues, bringing adaptive military athletes together from across all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Although San Antonio was previously announced as the 2026 host, today’s update marks a new milestone: the public reveal of the official Warrior Games logo honoring the city. The design features the outline of the Alamo framed inside a dog tag—symbolizing the city’s military identity—along with the Texas star, the River Walk, and Rosita’s Bridge. Organizers say the emblem captures San Antonio’s spirit and the pride the Games feel in making their first appearance here.

Athletes competing in the Warrior Games represent wounded, ill, and injured service members and veterans who have turned their rehabilitation journeys into elite athletic performance. They will compete in 11 adaptive sports, including archery, cycling, field events, indoor rowing, powerlifting, precision air sports, sitting volleyball, swimming, track, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair rugby.

Warrior Games Director David Paschal said the heart of the event lies in the athletes and their families, describing the Games as “life-changing” for those involved. He added that hosting the event in San Antonio gives the community the opportunity to witness these powerful stories of recovery and competition firsthand.

More information about schedules, volunteer sign-ups, and team details will be available on the Warrior Games website, with updates shared on Facebook and Instagram.
