VIA Crossroads Service Center Closed for Two Weeks
VIA’s Crossroads Park & Ride Service Center at 151 Crossroads Blvd. will shut down temporarily starting May 5 for about two weeks of renovations. The work is part of VIA’s push to upgrade its facilities and improve rider experience.
While the center is closed, the customer service window, indoor waiting area, and restrooms won’t be available. Temporary restrooms and hand-washing stations will be set up outside. Bus service and schedules will continue as normal.
Renovations include updated restrooms for both men and women, plus new flooring across the building, including the lobby, waiting areas, and ticket window.
Need help during the closure? Riders can head to the Medical Center Transit Center at 5330 Medical Drive, open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturdays, the Downtown Information Center at 211 W. Commerce St. will be the only customer service spot open, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
More upgrades are coming to the Medical Center Transit Center and Ellis Alley Park & Ride, though those dates haven’t been set yet. For help, call the VIA goLine at (210) 362-2020 or visit VIAinfo.net/contact.
