UTSA VS. UAB To Be Broadcast Nationwide From Alamodome

Nationwide Broadcast: UTSA vs. UAB Game Featured on ESPNU

The American Athletic Conference has officially announced that UTSA’s inaugural home game against UAB, scheduled for Saturday, October 14th, will be broadcast nationwide on ESPNU. The kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Alamodome.

UTSA and UAB are gearing up for their eighth overall encounter, marking the seventh consecutive season they’ll face off on national television. While UAB currently holds a slight 4-3 edge in the all-time series, it’s worth noting that UTSA has emerged victorious in their most recent two meetings, both of which were memorable for their dramatic endings.

In their previous encounters, UTSA has delivered high performances against UAB. In the 2020 clash, a nail-biting double-overtime showdown, Joshua Cephus’ 14-yard touchdown reception from Frank Harris, combined with a crucial fourth-down stop by the defense in the second overtime, secured UTSA’s historic victory in Birmingham with a final score of 44-38.

This Saturday, October 7th, the Roadrunners (1-3, 0-0) are set to journey to Philadelphia for their opening AAC match against Temple (2-3, 0-1). The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. CT at Lincoln Financial Field and will be broadcast on ESPN+ and Ticket 760.

Tickets are on sale by calling 210-458-UTSA (8872) or visiting go UTSA.com/tickets.
