Community’s Generosity Shines at Scholarship Fundraisers
Message From The Rover Family — The Montoya S. Rover Foundation and We R One Sam Houston Alumni Association would like to send a great “Thank You “ to the community for their overwhelming support for our scholarship fundraisers.
On Saturday, June 27th, the Rover family presented a partial award for $500.00 to Jannell Orosco, graduating senior of Sam Houston High school on behalf of Toya’s Angels-The Montoya Rover Dreamer Scholarship. A raffle of a 55” TV was held during the We R One All Class Reunion held at Comanche Park #2.
The We R One Sam Houston Alumni Association presented two Scholarship Awards of $500.00 each to Nasir Salaam and Rashad Miller both graduating seniors of Sam Houston High School. A 72” TV, several bicycles, and spirit baskets were also raffled of by the We R One Alumni Association as well during the All Class Reunion.
