After an eight-year absence, a Texan man, Rudolph Rudy Farias IV, who went missing as an 18-year-old in Houston, has been discovered alive over the weekend. He displayed visible injuries, including cuts, bruises, and blood in his hair. The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) confirmed his last known sighting on March 6, 2015, when he was 18 years old.
During his disappearance, Farias was reported to have been walking his dogs in a neighborhood in northeast Houston, according to the group involved in the search. On Saturday, the Texas Center for the Missing provided an update stating that Farias had been found safe and was currently recuperating in a hospital. The nonprofit organization urged people to keep Farias’ family in their thoughts and prayers as he undergoes recovery.
