San Antonio Zoo Is Proud to Support Texas Teachers and Their Families for Teacher Appreciation Month, Presented by H-E-B!
If you’re a Texas teacher, the San Antonio Zoo has a special treat for you this June! In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Month, the zoo is offering free standard admission to all Texas educators from June 1 through June 30, 2025. Additionally, teachers can bring along up to four guests at a 50% discount on Any Day tickets, valid on the same day of their visit.
To take advantage of this offer, teachers must be actively employed in a pre-K through 12th-grade public, private, or parochial school in Texas. At the time of entry, educators need to present a valid driver’s license along with either a copy of their teaching certificate or a school-issued photo ID badge.
Tim Morrow, President & CEO of the San Antonio Zoo, expressed the zoo’s gratitude, stating,
Texas teachers help make a difference in the lives of so many students every day. As a token of our appreciation, we are honored to offer complimentary admission to these changemakers all month long. Kick off the summer right and stop by for a wild day of adventure on us!
This initiative is a fantastic way for educators to unwind and enjoy the diverse wildlife and exhibits the zoo has to offer. Whether you’re interested in exploring the latest attractions or simply looking for a day of relaxation amidst nature, the San Antonio Zoo welcomes you.
