Stay Safe

Cold weather, pandemic and testing challenge SAISD

As you all know, our children got a week off to play in the snow. I hope that all my parents have water, food, and power. If anyone needs these things, you can contact the city at 311. I was just informed that CPS will not charge anyone for the overage, so that great news. Parents, please contact your schools to find out when and where they provide Covid testing for our children. All children returning to school should get tested. Parents also remind your child to wear their mask and wash their hands. If we are able to do this, it will help keep our schools safe for students, teachers, and staff. Until next week, please contact me if you have any questions or concerns at lena.lopez@saobserver.com
