Spurs Fight for Playoff Push

Following All Star weekend, the Spurs continue their annual Rodeo Road Trip Thursday against the Phoenix Suns (26-28). The Silver and Black are 2-4 in this year’s trip, an improvement over last year where they went 1-9.

The All Star break provided a much needed break for the Spurs as they head into the home stretch of the 2024-25 NBA season.

At 23-29 the Spurs are in the 12th spot in the Western Conference, three and half games behind the Warriors who occupy the last playoff play-in spot.

The team doesn’t return to the friendly confines of the Frost Bank Center until March 2nd where they face the Oklahoma Thunder. If the Spurs plan on making a push for the playoffs they will have to do a much better job of defending their home turf. The squad is 13-12 at the Frost Bank Center on the season.

Upcoming Games:

  • Thu, Feb 20 vs (11) Phoenix (26-28) 830pm: TNT/TruTV/Max
  • Fri, Feb 21 vs (6) Detroit (29-26) 730pm
  • Sun, Feb 23 @ (15) New Orlean (13-42) 6pm
  • Tue, Feb 25 @ (15) New Orleans (13-42) 7pm
