Schaefer Branch Library Celebrates 5 Years of Service
Schaefer Library’s Library Assistant Director Dale McNeill hosted the celebration of 5 years of service to the community last Saturday. SAPL kicked off the festivities with speakers and library representatives. Attendees enjoyed a plethora of festivities from speakers, Chalk art on the Schaefer Trail to Oversized Yard Games.
As fairly new library, Schaefer has been an asset to the eastside community stating on their website, “The Schaefer Branch Library is located in the Eastside. This Library contributes to the quality of life of the area, and offers access to an array of Library services and programs. It serves as a destination point for the community and provides opportunities for civic engagement. Libraries provide a place where students learn, citizens engage, and communities gather. The goal is to provide citizens access to resources that encourage lifelong learning and to open new doors for our community and its citizens.
