City of San Antonio Press Release — The City of San Antonio invites the community to visit Historic Market Square, La Villita Historic Arts Village and Travis Park this March for a wide variety of events.

Market Square Events (514 W. Commerce 

Market Square Spring Fest

March 9-17, FREE

It’s spring break at Historic Market Square, and that means it’s time to party! Enjoy nine days of live music, great food, family-friendly activities, and shopping.

Market Square Weekend Entertainment

Every weekend in March, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., FREE

Enjoy music, working artists, and food booths at Market Square every weekend!

La Villita Historic Arts Village Events (418 Villita Street)

Fitness in the Plaza

Saturday, March 9, 9 a.m. & 10 a.m., FREE

Unwind and reset with a free one-hour yoga class in La Villita’s Plaza Juarez. Join us for a relaxing session to find your inner calm, led by Marti Ewing Yoga Therapy. No cost; just bliss. Classes will be held at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Craft Tuesday: Fiesta Craft DIY

Tuesday, March 12, 5-7 p.m., FREE

Get ready for Fiesta at our next Craft Tuesday at La Villita! All supplies provided – just bring yourself, your friends, and family. Come early to grab dinner in the Village, or you can purchase light bites and beverages from Prost Haus. Seating is limited. Downtown Tuesday free parking begins at 5 p.m. in City-owned lots and garages.

Medal Fest

Tuesday, March 12, 4-8 p.m., FREE 

Gather your favorite Fiesta medals and get ready to buy and trade with other medal enthusiasts! We’ll have medal vendors set up through Plaza Nacional with all of this year’s hottest medals!

St. Patrick’s Day Festival & River Parade

Dyeing the River Green: Saturday, March 16, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Museum Reach) & 1-3 p.m. (Downtown); & Sunday, March 17, 1-3 p.m. (Downtown), FREE

St. Patrick’s Day Festival: Saturday, March 16 & Sunday, March 17, 1-6 p.m., FREE

St. Patrick’s Day River Parade: Saturday, March 16, 2-3 p.m. (Museum Reach), 5-6 p.m. (Downtown), FREE

Join Visit San Antonio – River Walk Operations and The Harp & Shamrock Society of Texas for a fun filled weekend festival along the River Walk and at La Villita. The weekend festivities will include dyeing the river green with eco-friendly dye, an artisan show, live entertainment, and more!

Dancing in the Dark

Tuesday, March 26, 6-8 p.m., FREE

Looking for a fun, free date night? Join us for La Villita’s Dancing in the Dark series with conjunto dancing lessons taught by professional dance instructor! Come a little early with your partner, friends, or by yourself to grab dinner in the Village, or you can purchase light bites and beverages from Prost Haus. Downtown Tuesday free parking begins at 5 p.m. in City-owned lots and garages.
