SAISD Hosts Food Distribution Event to Support Families Before Spring Break
San Antonio ISD is stepping up to help local families by hosting a food distribution event this Wednesday, March 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Alamo Stadium (110 Tuleta Drive). With the support of the San Antonio Food Bank, student groups and SAISD employees will volunteer to serve 300 families, ensuring they have access to nutritious food as Spring Break approaches.
Families in need are encouraged to attend and receive essential food supplies. Adding to the event, the San Antonio Missions Baseball team mascot, Ballapeño, will make an appearance to spread some cheer.
