SAISD’s New and Improved “Board Bytes”
Hello SAISD Parents,
I have some good news from our SAISD school board President Christina Martinez; she has introduced a new concept to help everyone understand what each board meeting is going over. All the information is broken down in a YouTube video called “Board Bytes,” which is only about five minutes long. This new video system will inform everyone in the district about what is going on in all board meetings.
I would also like to tell parents and students that one of the safety apps our district uses is P3. If anyone sees something, please know that you can use this app to report anything suspicious, and it’s all done anonymously. If anyone needs to say something and can’t do it through anyone on their campus, then you can go to the P3 website at www.p3campus.com or call SAISD Police at (210) 227-8477. If anyone needs to talk to someone or has a mental breakdown, Texas has set up a new hotline; the phone number is easy- it’s 988. I hope that this information will help our SAISD students and parents.
