Meet, Greet, and Create: Film Night at Tank’s Pizza
The San Antonio Black International Film Festival (SABIFF) is hosting a Film Creatives Meet-Up on Friday, June 13, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Tank’s Pizza, located at 902 N. New Braunfels Ave., San Antonio, TX.
This free, public event invites creatives, performers, filmmakers, movie fans, and community members to come together for an evening of networking, food, and conversation. Whether you’re involved in film or just enjoy watching, all are welcome.
The meet-up will feature short films, prizes, music, and pizza, creating a relaxed atmosphere to connect with others in the local creative community. The goal is to support and celebrate Black stories, voices, images, subjects, perspectives, history, and pride.
Tank’s Pizza is a longtime community favorite and serves as the gathering place for this event, which is part of SABIFF’s ongoing effort to bring people together through film and shared experiences.
The theme of the evening is “Life Experiences,” reflecting the stories and conversations that shape our communities both on and off screen.
