S.A. Students Ready to Compete at Rodeo!

Burbank High School Students Gear Up for San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo

Burbank High School’s Agricultural Science team is ready to make a mark at the 2025 San Antonio Junior Livestock Show, with senior Nicholas Rosas leading the charge.

Eighteen dedicated students from Burbank’s agriculture program are putting the final touches on their preparations as they gear up to showcase their pigs, goats, and chickens at the nearly three-week event, kicking off on Feb. 5 at the San Antonio Rodeo grounds.

Among them, Nicholas Rosas stands out as he prepares to compete in the breeding goat competition from Feb. 7-9. Fresh off a strong performance at the Bexar County Junior Livestock Show—where his goat earned second place and reserve grand champion—Rosas is determined to make an impact at San Antonio’s 76th annual Stock Show and Rodeo.
