Martin Luther King Jr. Wreath Laying Ceremony
On April 3, 2022, the Omega Men and Omega Gents of Psi Alpha Chapter attended the 2022 Martin Luther King, Jr. Wreath Laying Ceremony at the MLK Plaza, San Antonio, TX. The wreath laying event was done in lieu of the MLK March and attended by distinguished guest as Mayor Ron Nirenberg, Mayor Mary Dennis of Live Oak, and City Councilmen.
After some spectacular singing and remarks from guests on the agenda, Omega Gent Tyler Hardeway, Junior at Judson high school, introduced its guest speaker, Dr. Carey H. Latimore. Dr. Latimore is an Associate Professor of History at Trinity University where he is the co-director of the African American Studies program and the past Chair of the History Department.
