NOT A SHOW TO REMEMBER- NO REFUNDS FOR SPIRITLANDIA’S RIVER ‘PARADE’

Spiritlandia’s River Parade for Dia de Los Muertos a Total Disappointment, Will Not Issue Any Refunds

Last Thursday night’s Dia de los Muertos Parade on the River was a flop. Complaints ran rampant after the parade not only began late but only had a few floats float by which is very opposite of the parades in San Antonio and especially on the river.  Ticket buyers were very dissatisfied and many expressed their disgust as they’ve been to multiple parades where rain was a factor but usually the parades out did the rain.  Not at this parade though, it left people angry.

Those who organized the parade said they would not be giving refunds but if you showed proof of ticket to the parade the organizers would offer free entrance into the weekend events it still had planned.  Not the same, but what are you going to do?  Next year’s parade, if the organizers of Dia de los Muertos try again, should be open FREE to the public.

Social media was on fire with commenters about the delays and the ‘few’ floats that passed them by.  It was not up to San Antonio residents’ standards at all- especially since they made people pay for something that was not worth it.  What happened to ‘The show must go on’, it was just rain.

We hope to see a free public parade by Dia de los Muertos next year or the seats may be empty as this was not a show to remember.

A public apology was given by Spiritlandia but the money spent by San Antonians was already done and in Spiritlandia’s hands.  We will see next year if Spiritlandia still exists and if it does do not buy tickets unless you watch the weather report for ‘drizzle’.
