NEW ‘PAW PARK’ NOW OPEN

Paw Park at the Greenline Now Open for All Canine Friends

The Paw Park at The Greenline is now open for all canine friends in the Brooks region. Located at The Greenline, the dog park features separate areas for large and small dogs, water foundations, canopies, and nearly two dozen new trees. Through a partnership with the San Antonio River Authority, both areas have LID features that will protect the park’s pond from contamination.

“Parks are the centerpiece of a community to enjoy the outdoors and improve quality of life not only for humans, but for our pets as well,” says Jim Campbell, Chairman of the Brooks Board of Directors. “With four pet-friendly apartments and single-family homes going up, adding a dog park to campus was a top goal for us.”

“The health of the entire Brooks region is always top of mind, and that includes our four-legged friends as well,” says Leo Gomez, Brooks President and CEO. “We hope the addition of this dog park encourages our community to get outside, meet their neighbors, and really embrace what it means to Live Brooks.”

The Greenline is a 43-acre linear park and green space. The park features pavilions, fully stocked ponds, play area, food truck roundabout, exercise equipment, games, and free public Wi-Fi access. As of fall 2021, The Greenline directly connects the Brooks campus to the San Antonio River Mission Reach.
