Players a part of this year’s NBA Playoff teams will split a massive $35 million in bonuses, with each team receiving a portion contingent on how far they advance and regular-season standings.
The total amount is up $1 million from last season. Athletes will earn anywhere from $466,263 (roughly $30,400 per player based on a 15-player roster) to potentially $12.4 million ($828,000 per player) for the NBA Finals champion if it is the Oklahoma City Thunder, who concluded the regular season with the league’s top record at 68-14.
