Jerseys worn by Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant in the first games of their NBA careers are being auctioned off by Sotheby’s and are expected to fetch at least $20 million combined.
The announcement, made Thursday, reveals the Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Lakers jerseys are from the 1984-85 and 1996-97 seasons, respectively, and are expected to hit public exhibition at Sotheby’s New York galleries starting March 21.
