Miami Heat knock out Boston Celtics in Game 7 to advance to NBA Finals

The 2023 NBA Finals matchup is set.

The Miami Heat advanced to the Finals on Monday after a 103-84 series-clinching win over the Boston Celtics in Game 7 in Boston.

Miami closed out the series after the Celtics won three games in a row to force a Game 7. The Heat won the first three games in the series, including by a 26-point margin in Game 3.

The Heat will face the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic in the Finals with the first game on Thursday, June 1st. The Nuggets are making their first-ever Finals appearance, while the Heat will make their seventh franchise appearance and their first since the 2020 bubble season.
