NATIONAL HUNGER ACTION MONTH

San Antonio Food Bank Partners with RBFCU for Hunger Action Month, Spurs Volunteer by Assembling Produce Bags for Families

September is Hunger action month. The San Antonio Food Bank has partnered with RBFCU (Randolph Brooks Federal Credit Union) to combat hunger. RBFCU branches will be taking the most-wanted food items that are nonperishable.

During the month of Hunger Action you can aid those who are in need of food donations. You may visit any RBFCU location to fight hunger by dropping off the nonperishable food items.

The San Antonio Food Bank has barrels placed inside RBFCU’s locations where you can place the items through the entire month of September.

Your food item donations will be accepted from 9-5, Monday-Fridays and also on Saturdays from 9-4.

Providing food for over 100,000 people in our city, The San Antonio Food Bank’s purpose of Hunger Action Month brings much needed awareness for those who face food insecurities.

The San Antonio Spurs stopped by The San Antonio Food bank to volunteer their time to assemble produce bags for San Antonio Families. Join these great organizations and drop your donations at a participating RBFCU.

This is a nationwide event during the month of September.
