MSNBC to Enter MS NOW Era on Nov. 15

MSNBC to Rebrand as MS NOW, Marking Full Break from NBC and Comcast

MSNBC is entering a new era. The network will officially rebrand as MS NOW on November 15, completing its long-anticipated separation from NBC News and former parent company Comcast.

The new name, My Source for News, Opinion, and the World, will debut across all platforms, accompanied by a promotional campaign featuring network hosts and contributors.

MS NOW

As part of Comcast’s broader spin-off of its cable assets into Versant, MS NOW has been steadily building an independent newsroom and expanding its editorial operations. The rebrand aims to signal a new phase of autonomy and a clearer focus on opinion-driven journalism and live analysis.

In addition to internal expansion, the network has secured a distribution partnership with Sky News to enhance its international coverage. The move bolsters MS NOW’s ability to report global stories directly rather than relying on NBC’s foreign bureaus.
