MANY SAISD STUDENTS ABSENT FROM ZOOM CLASSES

Hello SAISD Parents,

This week will end the first nine weeks of school, which means grades are due. So, if any of your children need to make up grades, this is the last week before grades are due. Parents-  I understand that it’s hard to get our children motivated to log into zoom, but just a reminder this counts as their daily attendance. The one thing that can help your child overcome this learning via zoom is to help them create a comfortable area that will encourage them to log in and start learning.

If any of your children haven’t checked into their classes, then please contact your school. We must remind our children that although they learn from home, attendance is still essential, so let’s make sure they check every day. As a reminder, the SAISD (www.saisd.net) website has many helpful resources for parents to help during this crisis. If anyone has any questions or concerns, please contact me at lena.lopez@saobsever.com.

Have a Safe and Blessed Week,

Lena
