MAGA Crashes Rep. Jasmine Crockett Town Hall

Blaze TV Host Sparks Chaos at Dallas Town Hall, Crockett Calls For Unity Amid Ignorance

A community town hall hosted by Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) in Dallas spiraled into chaos after right-wing commentator Sara Gonzales, a host on Blaze TV, crashed the event on Aug. 14. Gonzales hurled personal insults at the congresswoman in a confrontation that was caught entirely on video.

As Crockett spoke about her grandmother to constituents, Gonzales interrupted, shouting:
“Jasmine! The people of Dallas deserve better than a fake ghetto hood rat.”

The crowd erupted in boos as Crockett smirked and tried to restore order. “No, no, no, no, no. Listen, listen, listen,” she said, attempting to redirect attention.

Escorted Out After Heated Exchange

Instead of backing down, Gonzales doubled down on her attacks, repeatedly calling Crockett a “spoiled rich kid from Missouri.” Crockett, originally from St. Louis, moved to Texas for law school before launching her legal and political career.

The audience quickly turned on Gonzales, shouting for her to leave. Security moved in to escort her out, prompting Gonzales to resist.

Second Disrupter Questions Crockett

The disruption didn’t end there. Another attendee—identified online as “blonde conservative”—confronted Crockett, accusing her of being racist toward white people. She asked, “Why do you hate white people? Why are you racist towards white people?”

That woman also filmed her interaction and posted it online before leaving the event when someone off-camera told her she needed to “skedaddle.”

Crockett Calls for Unity Against Ignorance

The Dallas County Blue Texas Organizing Rally, where Crockett was speaking, was meant to energize Democrats and push momentum toward turning Texas blue in the 2026 midterm elections.

Addressing the interruptions, Crockett reminded her supporters to rise above the heckling.
“Listen, this is part of the problem,” she told the crowd. “I want y’all to be part of the solution. We’re going to show these people that ignorance will not win today.”
