Jiffy Lube Hosting FREE Car Seat Check Event During Child Passenger Safety Week
Jiffy Lube is partnering with Safe Kids San Antonio to offer free car seat and booster seat inspections for local parents on Tuesday, September 17th, as part of Child Passenger Safety Week (Sept. 15-21). According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, harness-based safety seats can reduce fatal injuries in children by up to 71%.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST at Jiffy Lube Service Center #3306 (13803 Nacogdoches Road), Certified Passenger Safety Technicians from Brooke Army Medical Center will provide free inspections and installation support. Jiffy Lube technicians will also offer complimentary vehicle safety checks.
Families can enjoy refreshments, and services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early arrival is encouraged.
