Hollywood actor Jamie Foxx is recovering positively in hospital, but doctors are still keeping a close eye on the actor following his mysterious medical emergency.
Foxx is doing well but remains in the hospital according to People Magazine.
“Doctors are running tests, but he is awake and alert. They are keeping him under observation,” the source told People Magazine and Page Six.
The ‘Django Unchained’ star’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, was the first to reveal that her father was ill.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, suffered a medical emergency yesterday,” the 29-year-old posted on social media.
“We know how loved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy during this time.”
Sources later revealed that Foxx had been taken to a hospital in Georgia while filming his movie ‘Back in Action’.
According to reports, his medical emergency did not occur on set.

However, last week, there seemed to be some glimmer of hope that Jamie was on his way to making a full recovery.
A source revealed to ‘People’ on April 14 that the ‘Ray’ star was “steadily improving”.
An insider then told ‘Entertainment Tonight’ on Tuesday that Jamie was “healing” and could feel “love from everyone.”
As the Oscar winner recovers, cameras on the set of his Netflix action movie began rolling again after a brief pause.
Producers decided to shoot some scenes on Monday with Cameron Diaz, her co-star McKenna Roberts and a Jamie Foxx lookalike.
