Daiso’s Grand Opening Thrills Crowds in Alamo Ranch
Excitement filled the air as large crowds camped out over the weekend for the grand opening of Daiso in the Alamo Ranch area. The new 5,661-square-foot store at 5347 W Loop 1604 N., Suite #105, offers a diverse range of products, from decorations to beauty items. To mark the occasion, Daiso hosted special offerings for the first two days.
Eager shoppers began lining up in the early hours. Lorenzo P., one of the first to arrive, told KSAT, “I showed up at like 4:45 this morning ready to go; nobody else was here, but I’m definitely very excited.” He was particularly keen on items that were sold out on Saturday and are rarely available in San Antonio.
The excitement didn’t stop there. Many, like Lilliana Santos, arrived early on Sunday to secure their spot. The wait was challenging under the Texas sun, but the promise of exclusive goodie bags for the first 100 customers who spent $30 made it worth it.
David Schelick, the store’s area manager, expressed his gratitude, noting the overwhelming response from the San Antonio community. He hinted at more store openings in the area soon, adding to the buzz.
Daiso’s grand opening was a resounding success, drawing enthusiastic crowds and promising a bright future for the store in San Antonio. The store is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
