Gymnastics Teams Announced for 2024 USA Olympic Team

As the world gears up for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the USA Gymnastics Federation has officially announced the athletes representing the nation in men’s and women’s gymnastics. The anticipation is palpable, as these games hold a special significance in these politically tense times.

Medalists Asher Hong and Paul Juda, 2024 U.S. all-around champion and 2022 World horizontal bar gold medalist Brody Malone, 2021 pommel horse world champion Stephen Nedoroscik and 2023 World all-around and team bronze medalist Frederick Richard. It will be Malone’s second Olympic Games, while Hong, Juda, Nedoroscik and Richard are first-time Olympians. 2023 World team bronze medalist and two-time silver medalist Khoi Young and Tokyo Olympian Shane Wiskus were named traveling replacement athletes.

Leading the men’s team is Asher Hong, joining him are Paul Juda, 2024 U.S. all-around champion and 2022 world horizontal bar gold medalist Brody Malone, 2021 pommel horse world champion Stephen Nedoroscik and 2023 World all-around and team bronze medalist Frederick Richard. It will be Malone’s second Olympic Games, while Hong, Juda, Nedoroscik and Richard are first-time Olympians

The alternates, prepared to step in at a moment’s notice, are Khoi Young and Tokyo Olympian Shane Wiskus. Their readiness ensures that the team is well-covered in case of any unforeseen circumstances.

The women’s team, equally formidable, features Simone Biles, a legend in the sport with numerous records and medals to her name. She is joined by Suni Lee, the 2020 Olympic all-around champion, and Jordan Chiles, whose consistency and power have been a standout. The team also includes Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera, both bringing their unique strengths to the lineup.

Alternates for the women’s team are Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson, who have both demonstrated exceptional potential and are prepared to compete if needed.
