As the calendar continues moving forward, in 2023, We The People, are now facing a golden opportunity to experience more success, in our quest to return democracy to it’s rightful level of honor and respect, by designing a continuous strategy to get more voters educated and engaged, in time for the upcoming election cycles on the state and national levels.
THE YOUNG VOTER
It has been discussed and noted, in various circles and prior articles, the importance of the young people’s strong presence, in past midterm and general elections, which contributed to newly elected officials and changed the faces of those who are representing our communities.
COMMUNITY STRATEGY
Significantly, community based organizations, faith based organizations and community activists have added their presence and voices, to the call for more persons to get registered, to learn more about what’s on the ballot, what offices are being contested and what benefits will be delivered to our communities, by specific candidates seeking our financial support to GET OUT THE VOTE.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER DEPUTY REGISTRAR!
Our challenge and strategy now, is to enlist more citizens, to become Volunteer Deputy Registrars, to spread the message of how important it is to get registered and to Vote! In this fashion, we will not be “trying to catch up”, once 2024 arrives.
