FIRST KKK GROUP WAS HEADQUARTERED IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS

Despite the claim that San Antonio was always a nice friendly city which never had a riot, or was profoundly racist, nothing could be further from the truth. According to The Fredericksburg Manuscripts by Ken Knopp, “In the early 1850’s the idea was born by Southern lazy slave owners to develop their own separate republics or nations with laws to protect chattel slavery and plantation owners. King Cotton grew only in the warmest of climates—and all the scheming of the Knights of the Golden Circle (KGC) involved only semi-tropical and tropical countries. It was their own perversion of ‘Manifest Destiny’ that held the superiority of the white man over the God given right –rather, duty–to own Negro slaves. According to them, the God created the Negro to fulfill this destiny of the white man.”’

According to Knopp, the Anglos expected everyone to “regard Negroes as having inferior brains and that God had created them to be the slaves of the white “Master Race” akin to mules, oxen and other animals of labor.” Not much different from the crazed racist groups that are murdering people in grocery stores and churches today. They pass their ugly hatred from one generation to the next, In quoting historian, Professor Donald S. Frazier of McMurry University, Abilene, Texas, Ken Knopp discovered the Anglos were very busy with their own racist agenda. In Frazier’s book, titled Blood & Treasure: Confederate Empire in the Southwest, Knopp quotes this important point: “The Knights of the Golden Circle, or KGC…organized by George Bickley in 1855…secret goal was securing Mexico and the Caribbean basin as parts of a slave empire. The Knights took their name from their plan for establishing an imperial capital at Havana, Cuba, and extending their realm in a ‘Golden Circle’ through the upper South, along the Gulf of Mexico, and across the Caribbean.”

Knopp goes on to say that “that the Knights had its strongest base in Texas. Their secret organizations were called “castles.” There were castles in 37 counties of Texas with its headquarters in San Antonio.  By 1860, their membership was swelling with devotees to slavery, white supremacy, and obsession with the determination to secede from the Union to get on with building their Empire of the Golden Circle.” This is little known history and of immense importance because apparently San Antonio is where the original Klan-type group came from and not from Tennessee as many historians have theorized.

The KGC became active when Abraham Lincoln was elected president of the United States who was apparently assassinated by KGC member John Wilkes Booth.  Texas KGC organizers called a bogus election in 1861 “to prove that the majority in the state wanted to secede and  protect cherished Southern values.” Interestingly, Jefferson Davis, the arch racist president of the Confederacy, has been implicated by some historians in the assassination of Lincoln as was Lincoln’s Vice-President Andrew Johnson.

The plot to kill Lincoln involved more than killing Lincoln, they planned to destroy the entire executive leadership in Washington just like Trump and his Nazi-like allies did on January 6, 2021 at the Capitol racist riot.  What many don’t understand is the fact that the mark of freedom was racism from the very beginning of the United States. It was not just about cotton and “Manifest Destiny,” but more of a “White Racist Destiny,” for freedom was attached to “white skin” during the Civil War, and before that to Texas settlers who came to fight at the Battle of the Alamo.
