Families Invited to Free Normoyle Egg Hunt Extravaganza

A Special Appearance from the Easter Bunny Highlights the Family-Friendly Normoyle Egg Hunt Extravaganza

Families across San Antonio are invited to celebrate spring at the Normoyle Egg Hunt Extravaganza, a free community event hosted by the City of San Antonio’s Parks and Recreation Department.

The event will take place March 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Normoyle Community Center, 700 Culberson, and is open to children and families of all ages. Organizers say the celebration will feature 12,000 eggs, games, crafts, music, snacks and prizes, along with a special appearance from the Easter Bunny.

The egg hunt itself will be divided into age groups to give children a fair chance to participate. The hunt for children ages 5 and under begins at 11 a.m., while children ages 6 and older start at noon, according to event details.

City officials say the annual gathering is designed to bring neighbors together while providing families with a free outdoor activity during the spring season.

The Normoyle Egg Hunt Extravaganza is free and does not require registration, though families are encouraged to arrive early for the best chance to participate in activities and games. For more information visit the City of San Antonio’s website here.
