San Antonio Parks and Recreation Prolonged Pool Season Schedule for Nine Outdoor Pools, Running from August 14, 2023, to September 24, 2023.
“Year after year, Extended Pool Seasons continue to play a crucial role in our aquatics operations,” affirmed Homer Garcia III, Director of Parks and Recreation. “As our city’s schools and colleges resume, we recognize the importance of providing cool havens for our community.”
Throughout the duration, nine pools will remain operational on weekends. Additionally, Roosevelt Pool and Woodlawn Lake Pool are set to extend their availability to select weekday evenings.
**Enjoy Lap Swimming**
Take advantage of lap swimming sessions at Woodlawn Pool, available Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m.
**Stay Cool Opportunities**

City splash pads are ready for fun, operating from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. until October.
