Community Mental Health Symposium Set for June 21 in San Antonio
The Alpha Tau Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host a Community Mental Health Awareness and Resources Symposium on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 9 AM at the E. Thurman Walker Sports Complex, 314 Eross Street.
Titled “Thriving Together as a Community: Reimagine Mental Health Across Our Lifespan,” the event will feature expert guest speakers covering topics such as women’s mental health in the workplace, caregiver stress, and the role of mental health in court.
Speakers include Donna Acosta, Hon. Yolanda Huff, Dr. S. Rhodes, Dr. Keely Petty, and Le Reta Gatlin-McDavid.
