San Antonio residents who donate blood this winter could help save lives — and win big in the process. From now through January 31, all blood donors who give at a South Texas Blood & Tissue donor center will be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win groceries for an entire year.
One lucky donor will receive a $7,000 gift card to H-E-B, representing the estimated cost of a year’s worth of groceries. To enter, donors must schedule an appointment online or by phone and use the promo code GROCERIES at the time of booking.
Organizers say the campaign comes at a critical time. Winter months are traditionally among the most challenging periods for maintaining a stable blood supply due to seasonal illnesses, travel, and fewer regular donors.
