Cardi B Is Entering the Beauty Space With Grow Good Beauty, a Haircare Brand Rooted in Her Years Long Natural Hair Growth Journey
Cardi B is expanding her empire once again, this time stepping into the beauty industry with a haircare brand rooted in her own transformation. The Grammy winning rapper announced the launch of Grow Good Beauty, a line inspired by her personal natural hair journey.
While headlines swirl around her personal life, the Bronx native is focused on business. In a new social media video, she opened up about how her relationship with her hair has evolved over the years.
“When I was younger, I really used to hate my hair,” she said. “Now that I’m older, I grew to love it, appreciate it… it’s really a part of me.”
From Wigs to Waist Length Growth
Though Cardi B is known for bold, multicolored wigs and high glam looks, she has periodically shown fans her natural hair. Over the past several years, she has posted updates revealing nearly waist length strands and detailed parts of her routine on Instagram Stories and TikTok.
Fans have watched her experiment with home remedies, including an avocado and mayonnaise hair mask. In 2023, she hinted that something bigger was coming, telling followers she had been carefully testing products on herself before sharing them publicly.
“It took me from 2016 until now to grow my hair,” she said at the time. “I’m not gonna tell y’all what I’m using for it because I gotta test it out first on myself.”
Now, that long tested formula is becoming a business. With Grow Good Beauty, Cardi says the brand reflects Belcalis, her birth name, describing herself as “a Bronx girl, mother of 4, walking down the block, being the baddest b*tch.”
“I am very passionate about this,” she said in the new promotional clip. “I really love this sht… This is something that I have been working on for such a long long time… We want btches hair to grow.”
Grow Good Beauty is scheduled to launch in April 2026, according to the brand’s website.
The move places Cardi B among a growing list of entertainers building beauty brands rooted in authenticity and personal narrative. If her fan base responds the way it has to her music and previous ventures, Grow Good Beauty may be her next chart topping success.
