Capital Delivery, Center City Development & Operations and Council Offices Host Main Plaza Improvement Project Open House Feb. 23

The City’s Capital Delivery division is inviting residents to preview and discuss conceptual design plans for the Main Plaza Improvement Project during a public open house on Monday, February 23.

The meeting will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 600 Soledad Street.

Hosted by Capital Delivery in partnership with Center City Development & Operations and Council Offices, the open house will showcase preliminary concepts aimed at improving accessibility and enhancing the historic downtown gathering space. The project includes additional improvements coordinated with the Main Plaza Conservancy.

What Residents Can Expect

Community members may visit anytime during the two-hour window to review design concepts and speak directly with members of the project’s design team.

City officials say the open house is intended to gather public input as plans move forward.

Translation services will be available upon request with at least 72 hours’ advance notice.
