Caitlin Clark Taken No. 1 by Indiana Fever in 2024 WNBA Draft

The WNBA Draft has come and gone, this year leveling up the event with a live audience and extended broadcast on ESPN. Iowa standout Caitlin Clark went No. 1 overall to the Indiana FeverCameron Brink and Kamilla Cardoso were taken next by the Los Angeles Sparks and Chicago Sky, respectively, to round out the top three.

Ahead of the evening’s events, Clark and fellow draftees, including Brink, Cardoso, and Angel Reese visited the Empire State Building to flip its colors orange. Clark hit the orange carpet in head-to-toe Prada, becoming the first WNBA or NBA draftee to be dressed by the Milan fashion house. Following the draft, Darren Rovell reports that Fanatics sold out Clark’s newly minted Indiana Fever jerseys overnight.
