Breakaway Brewing 2nd Anniversary 5K | Part of the 2025 Texas Brewery Running Series
Texas Brewery Running Series is excited to celebrate Breakaway Brewing’s 2nd Anniversary with a special 5K fun run and community event on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Breakaway Brewing’s Government Hill taproom, located at 1518 East Grayson Street, San Antonio, TX 78208.
The run begins at 11 AM with a 5K route that starts and ends at the brewery. Following the run, participants will receive a complimentary craft beer or non-alcoholic beverage and a choice of a limited-edition Brewery Running Series pint glass or another collectible item. Entry also includes participation in post-run raffles.

This event is more than a celebration of Breakaway; it’s an opportunity to be active, enjoy great craft beer, and give back to our community. Ten percent of all Brewery Running Series proceeds will benefit the San Antonio Food Bank, a vital resource for families in need. Additionally, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for our Hunger Fighters Food Drive. Each donation earns an extra raffle ticket for the Hunger Fighters Raffle, offering even more chances to win exclusive prizes.

Founded in 2012 in Minneapolis, the Brewery Running Series has expanded to 21 states, hosting over 300 annual events that combine running, local breweries, and community impact. Since its Texas debut in 2017, the series has championed breweries across San Antonio, Austin, Boerne, Corpus Christi, Johnson City, and New Braunfels.
